Be A Good Neighbor

Be a Good Neighbor...

Be a good neighbor and remove your recycling, trash, and greenwaste bins from the curb by the end of collection day. If you plan to be out of town, ask your neighbor to bring in your bins - and offer to return the favor! If you have an illness or injury, call your hauler about special walk-up service.

Leaving your bins on the curb...:

  • may encourage others to dump unwanted or illegal materials in your bins (and you're responsible for the contents).
  • may encourage vandalism, theft, or damage to bins.
  • may block pedestrian and bike paths, impede traffic, and hinder line of sight.
  • may cause your neighbors to complain about your actions.
  • is unsightly.
